Although know that to become a board member, you will need to come to a board meeting and be voted in as a member in an open position. Please reach out to our board via Phone/Email/Facebook to find out when our next meeting is.
To become a coach you will need to talk to the Coaching/Cheer Coordinator who will get you in contact with the Head Coach, if one is appointed, and then you will need approval from the Head Coach of the team you wish to coach on.
Once you have been approved by the Board or Cheer/Coach Coordinator, these are the 3 things you will need to complete to become a coach/board member for the Colfax Jr Falcons Football and Cheer Organization.
1.) Coach ClinicYou will need to go to a coach clinic which the SYF normally schedules a few between April and August.
2.) CDC TrainingYou will need to complete the CDC concussion Online Training each year (Link Below) and print or save the certificate as a PDF and email it to president@colfaxjrfalcons.org or physically turn it in to the Board President.

3.) DOJ FingerprintingYou will receive some forms to take to Auburn Mail n More and get your fingerprints taken and sent to DOJ for a background check. We have a contract with them if you bring the forms, it will be billed to the league.
4.) Badging InfoA link will be sent out where you will enter your info and upload a headshot. Once every step has been completed. You will receive your Board/Coach badge.
Once you have been approved by the Head Coach & Coaching/Cheer Coordinator, and you have completed the above tasks, you will be certified to coach in practices/games/competitions.
